90-60-90… Do all people need to be of the same size, and does beauty need any standards?

The idea that all people should have the same size mocks on the wisdom of the human race. While it is imperative that maintaining a good physique is recommended, having a ‘hot bod’ is not necessary. People can have several valid problems for not being able to maintain their physique but that doesn’t give anyone the right to undermine them. Having abs is cool but being very thin or pot-bellied is not a reason for body-shaming. The height of people is also sometimes a reason for their embarrassment. Especially in case of boys, if they’re short, they’re called dwarfs and always made fun of. In case of short girls, it’s still acceptable. They’re considered ‘cute’. When it comes to tall people, the situation is not much different. They’re often asked questions like, “What did you eat to get so tall?”. In this case, girls face more problems than boys. Tall girls are often told that they’ll never find a boy because of their height. These insults might not seem much but they make people suffer from inferiority complex. The five fingers of the hand are not identical but none of them is worthless. Similarly, a man/woman no matter how out of shape he/she is has his/her place in the society and should not be criticized.
Beauty is not something which can be defined on certain parameters. So, there is much controversy as to who is beautiful and who’s not. Life is beautiful and it makes everything that houses it beautiful. Every person is beautiful and he/she doesn’t need approval from other people for accepting it. Beauty has no standards but as we are social beings, beauty in the society means how presentable the person is. It depends on various factors of which the morally unacceptable yet most important one is appearance. Apparently, having attractive looks means you’re beautiful no matter how you’re at heart. Every generation says that judging on looks is a thing of the past but they succumb to this taboo themselves. A beautiful person is only defined by how pure he/she is at heart. There are no standards of beauty.
